Questions

Installing CallSteer.

Windows shows a warning when I install

The installer is signed by CallSteer, Inc. If Windows SmartScreen still shows a box, click “More info”, check that the publisher says CallSteer, Inc., then click “Run anyway”.

How does it hear the call?

CallSteer uses your microphone for your voice and your computer’s sound for the customer’s voice, automatically. No virtual cables or extra drivers, and any headset works.

Does it work with my dialer?

Yes. If it plays on your computer, CallSteer can hear it: Dialpad, RingCentral, Five9, Aircall, Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and more.

Will it slow down my computer?

No. The listening happens on our servers. The window is small and stays out of the way.

How do updates work?

CallSteer downloads updates in the background and installs them between calls, so you’re always on the latest version.
