Everything managers ask before their first call. Something missing? Ask us.

What is CallSteer?

CallSteer is live call coaching for phone teams. A manager writes the objections their team hears and the exact response they want said. CallSteer listens to live calls and puts that response on the rep's screen the moment the objection is spoken, word for word. It also catches buy signals, answers documented questions from your knowledge base, and coaches through anything you have not written yet. Unlike post-call analytics, it helps during the call, when it can still change the outcome.

How is CallSteer different from conversation intelligence tools like Gong or Chorus?

Conversation intelligence platforms record and analyze calls after they end, for coaching sessions later. CallSteer works live: while the customer is speaking, it puts the next thing to say on the rep's screen. The two are complementary.

How does real-time call coaching actually work?

CallSteer hears the customer's side of the call through the rep's computer. When it recognizes an objection, a question or a buy signal, however the customer phrases it, it picks the line: your playbook first, word for word, then your knowledge base, then a closing line when the customer is ready, and sales technique for anything you have not written yet. Voicemail, small talk and wrong numbers get nothing.

Will it make things up about my company?

No. CallSteer never states a fact about your pricing, coverage or company that you did not give it. Your own lines appear exactly as you wrote them. Where you have not written a line, it coaches with technique, such as a question that finds the real concern, not invented facts. If you want reps to see only your own responses, that is one setting.

What phone systems and dialers does CallSteer work with?

The CallSteer desktop app works with any softphone or browser dialer on Windows, including Dialpad, RingCentral, Five9, Aircall, Zoom, Teams and Google Meet. There is no telephony integration to build, no virtual audio cables or drivers, and any headset works.

Does CallSteer record or store call audio?

No. Audio is transcribed live and never stored. CallSteer keeps the text of the lines it showed and the customer sentences your reps had no answer for, so you can write responses for them. Everything is encrypted in transit.

What teams is CallSteer built for?

Sales is available now: objection handling, buy signals and the close. Customer service (verification, de-escalation and policy answers) and tech support (troubleshooting steps and escalation) are in an invite-only beta.

How long does it take to get started?

Most teams are live the same day. Sign up, write your first responses and test them, add your reps, and send them the install link. Each rep installs the Windows app in about three minutes and signs in with a company code, rep ID and PIN.

Does CallSteer get better over time?

Yes, through you. It shows which of your lines reps actually say out loud, and every question they had no answer for, in the customer's own words and ranked by how often your floor hears it. Writing a response for those is how your playbook gets sharper every week.

Can I control what each rep sees?

Yes. You can test any line before it goes live, limit reps to your own responses for the whole team or one rep at a time, turn coaching off for everyone in one click, and undo any change.

How much does CallSteer cost?

CallSteer is $199 per seat per month. One seat is one rep getting coached; managers do not need a seat. It is month to month: cancel online before your next renewal and you will not be charged again. Start on the pricing page, or book a live walkthrough first.

What do my reps need?

A Windows 10 or 11 computer that their calls run through, and a headset. Updates install themselves between calls.

Put your best rep on every call.
